The Cruiser Section

The cruising section of the club is active over the whole year, we encourage members to expand their abilities and experience in a social manner with short cruises to locations along the south coast as well as longer more demanding excursions to France.

Over the summer period we hold a few racing events which test the skills of skipper and crew. These are great fun and whilst lead to trophies, are not going to see you skipper an ocean racer (yet).

We are able to provide moorings and shore storage and can cater for refurbishment and maintenance with club facilities, however we ask that the member is reasonable as to the depth of work covered and duration.

The club holds several social functions which include a laying up supper and evening sessions on engine maintenance and navigation.

Current members are always willing to give advice with all matters nautical as well as hands on skills if asked. Most have repaired or refurbished their craft and have a trick or two.

Our belief is to enjoy cruising in a safe, competent manner with like minded people.
